Sorry, tedious post and just trying to get my head around Letters and Sounds...

Is this about right - phase 5 is taught from the end of YR through Y1 and then phase 6 is taught through Y2?

If not, what is and if so, what happens after phase 6.

Support for Spelling follows on from Phase 5 (overlaps with phase 6 in Y2) as the focus moves from phonics for reading into phonics for spelling.
