We are getting ready for the appeal process. Having read all your conversations I got even more stressed...
Can anyone share a sucessful story? How did you manage to win that appeal? Thanks!

There were some successful appeals at my DCs primary school (a few year before they joined). But, it was because an error had been made iro distance. The school admitted quite a few children and employed an additional teacher. What is your appeal based on?

The national statistics will say that something like 30% of appeals are successful, but there is massive variation both across the country and in terms of the type of appeal.
For primary schools many of the appeals are going to be infant class size appeals and the level of success of these must be very low. If however it is a primary school or a secondary school which is not infant class size regs case then the onus is on the personal circumstances of the parents / pupil and is therefore far more likely to be successful.
