When will we get our Y6 DC's SATs results?

And in what format will we receive them?

Just curious (and impatient).

Probably not until in the end of year report. We receive results back in school on 11th July so definitely until after then!

Thanks :)

I'm dreadful with these things. The results for my professional exams are published online. Cue furious F5-ing.

I shall try not to pass this on to ds Grin

My son's A level results are out on his 18th birthday! He doesn't know whether to plan a celebration, a commisseration or ignore it completely!
I think the waiting for results is harder than the exams themselvesSad

DD1 is in Yr6, she had her end of year report in March Confused - ostensibly because the school is closing at the end of the year (area going from 3-tier to 2-tier). I asked and was told that she would receive a final report at the end of the year which would include her SATs results but also any progress she had made since spring h/t.

Year 6 SATS results usually arrive at the school at the beginning of July- but not sure if that might change this year as now the science and writing tests are internally marked.

Most schools pass the information on in the end of year report which our year 6 pupils usually get in the penultimate week of term.

snowball if results day is anything like it was when I was 18, there'll be one hell of a pub crawl!

The 11th is exactly one week before the last day of term (and indeed of primary - where did the time go?).

Depending on the size of the class the teacher will give them the once over and have an idea how they've done, esp in maths. Not sure if they'd tell you, though.

if they do, they are breaking the rules and could, if found out, have the results negated.

We get them back end of June/ beginning of July (hopefully it will a bit earlier this year without the writing tests). We then check all the papers for marking or scoring errors, then once we are satisfied they are ok will let the kids know informally what they got. We then send out results formally to parents in their report.
