Does anyone know how these books relate to reading levels? Dd's school uses these books in reception, she's currently on phase 5, set 13, just wondering of anyone knows how they fit with ort. Thanks.

Phonic phases and sets can?t easily be correlated with book bands or other reading levels. Phonic books are constructed on a very different basis from book-banded books, however a very rough correlation can be made:

Letters and Sounds Phase /Book Band

Phase 2 /Pink

Phase 3 /Red

Phase 4 /Red?Yellow

Phase 5 /Blue?Orange
