Catchment areas in Berrylands, Surbiton

My boyfriend and I are looking to buy a house in Berrylands and want to make sure we choose a road that is likely to be in the catchment area of Christ Church school. We will attend church but aren't clear on exactly how close we need to be, given all the worrying threads I've read about schools in the area being oversubscribed. We're looking at roads such as The Ridge and Regent road- how "safe" a bet are these? This is all very much forward planning as we don't have kids yet but we want to buy a house that we can stay in so trying to think ahead! Thanks in advance for any advice.

If you phone the local authority they should be able to tell you the furthest away a particular school has accepted a child from for at least the last couple of years. And find out if that is as the crow flies, or travel to school distance.
