We got offered our first choice thankfully, and returned the slip accepting the place to the school. What will happen now? Will they let us know what happens next? No idea if they do visits before September etc..

Should I phone them or sit tight and wait for information from them?

When I handed our confirmation in this week, I was given a letter with settling in / stay and play dates, information about when teacher will do a home visit and a parents evening / chat thing. It might be worth a call to the school just to ask if there are any dates to put in the diary?

give the school a ring, some do home visits, others visit the nursery if they attend one, others invite the parents and children to the school, but the school will send you the relevant information in due course, i was just impatient and wanted to know now lol x

Our school contact you aftert the deadline for acceptances with an invitation to a parents evening and a settling in afternoon - both in late June.
