Can I ask you which Wii games your 5 yo DS plays?

Sorry - I couldn't see a better place to reach people with 5 year old (reception) DSs.

Thanks

Dora birthday game.
Disney sing-a-long.

She loves Just Dance, she's just 6.

My ds loves Lego star wars, Lego pirates of the caribbean, lego Harry potter (can you spot the theme)

He also likes mario cart, too.

Wii Birthday Party is a hit - lots of simple games, and also, Fairground something-or-other. Again, lots of short, simple games.

Cars 1 and Cars 2 and just recently Mario Kart.

He loves driving games. Grin

Mario Kart and Sonic and Mario at the Olympics are current faves

Another one for the Lego games (ds is now 6 but he's been playing them since this age). As well as being hilarious, they are also brilliantly child-friendly: nothing bad ever happens except Darth Vader might lose his legs but then he just clicks them back on again and off he goes. In fact one of my ds' fave things in Lego Batman is when you can switch and play as the baddies - he thinks that's hilarious. Of course, you don't play against Batman and Robin then. Just the other baddies.

Mario Olympics, winter olympics and Kart.

DS1 (5) absolutely loves De Blob - he played it with some friends a while back so I bought them both (1 & 2) off ebay.
We've finished 1 and done the first sweep of 2, but going back over it again to improve our scores.
2 is better in a way as 2 people can play together.

It's mostly a colouring in game with lots of challenges, with a baddie who wants to turn the world grey.

Lego pirates of the caribbean
Wii party
Dance on broadway

treadonthecracks · 27/04/2012 21:29

Thank you all, I'll be taking a look at all of those.

As far as I'm concerned, the best part of the Wii is the fact that my 5 yo DS can get lots of exercise while playing - so he plays Wii Sports Resort, Wii Sports and Family Ski endlessly on wet days when he can't get outside on his bike or with his football. Not keen on the sitting down play-it-like-a-console type games.

kateand2boys · 28/04/2012 20:41

Mario Kart

Mario and Sonic at the Olympics (we have all 3) did the synchronised swimming as a family and I haven't ever laughed so much DH looked so camp Grin

Wii sports resort

Lego games

Super Mario Bros, although this is quite tricky, I'm rubbish Blush

Skylanders, although if you have to get the extra figures it can become expensive.

Thanks all. Will check those all out.

Like the sound of the lego ones.
