Any parents have information/opinions on the upper Junior school or Senior school. I have a little boy 7years who we will be applying for a place soon. Thanks very much.

Hi DS goes there and DD will be starting this year. DS is 7 so will be going in to P4 upper primary in august. We are very happy with the school we moved DS there for P2. In terms of facilities it's great, and the staff have all been very good.

I would say the upper primary looks less lovely than the lower primary - it's in an older building. However I know parents with children in the upper primary and they seem happy.

Maybe post this in the Edinburgh local board to get more opinions.

Dh went there Some of the teachers he had were truly life changingly inspirational. They will have retired by now but if that's a marker of their general standard then you're on to a good thing
