Wigan School NC Block Assessments

I recently came across these on the net and would like to know if they seem reasonable as a guide to current national curriculum levels.

I've used them in the past and find they give a higher level than the NC SATs papers and APP.

I thought they might do :o)

DD is in reception and scored 1a so she is probably about a 1c at the mo!

That sounds about right, but we didn't use them in reception. In KS1 & KS2 found they were at least 1 sublevel out, usually 2, even occasionally 3. But at least they were easier to administer than some tests.
