Its not IN Dorking , it's an amalgamated school across 3 village sites, Betchworth, Brockham and Leigh.

The old Acorns school ( Betchworth base of NDS) was well regarded locally. I liked the way that at least you got an infant school in the village even if for juniors they had to get to the other site.

If your not in the villages I'd not go out of my way to get into a village school. People ship their kids 4 miles out of town to go to DS's school and its a pain. Curiously DS's best mates are all village kids like he is, maybe because they are the kids he sees out side school. The village kids seem to have more independence than the town kids who can't walk to school alone & can't drop by a friends house without an adults assistance.
