I've just decided to prepare my son for the 11+ but am panicking because theres not long to go. What books would be best, and which to avoid? Thanks.

Kent use GL Assessment papers.
GL Assessment sell 2 packs of 4 tests for maths, verbal reasoning and nonverbal reasoning. They also sell a how to do type book for VR and NVR.

Go to the elevenplusexams.co.uk site for more info. In their forum, they have a section for Kent, and there is lots of info there.

I used mainly Bond ten minute tests - DS1 did ten minutes every day and didn't mind that. Did some Letts papers over the summer holidays as well. He passed :)
