level 3 maths in year 2 question

dd (year 2) came home from school and said some of her year had done a level 3 maths SAT paper and she had scored 23 out of 30. However, she was upset as lots of the other dc sitting the paper had got high 20s. I think she did really well. We never do any numeracy practice at home and i was impressed with her mark. What would be considered to be a solid level 3 score in year 2?

sat level 3? My ds is only now getting on to level 3 and he is in year 5! I'd tell her not to worry.

Thanks for the lovely replies. I am really proud of her, especially because i was rubbish at maths at school. She seems to be in a class of real high flyers who are good at everything, so she doesn't really see her achievements as anything special. Still, at least it keeps her grounded.
