Cypress School, South Norwood

Hello
am considering moving to a house that's very close to Cypress School - which would be the obvious place for our daughter, who's already started at a less-than-ideal primary school in a neighbouring borough, a painful 2 miles from our home. I'd like to speak to parents whose child / children are at Cypress now, preferably at the junior school. The infants gets a fantastic ofsted report, but something appears to be amiss once the children move across the road to the junior school (now federated with the juniors and possibly soon to be merged). Various threads mention Cypress in vague terms, but I'd love to speak to someone who has ACTUAL recent or current experience of the school - we all know how inaccurate hearsay can be. The ofsted for the juniors suggests that children don't feel safe and that bullying might be a problem. Can any parents help answer these points? We could keep our child at her existing primary if Cypress doesn't seem right for us, but that would entail even more travel than we have now. many thanks if you can help - or point me to someone who can.

Hi, my son's at Cypress - in the infants but I know several people with children in the juniors. If you PM me, I'll see what I can do to put you in touch.
