I'd like to hear from parents who've got children at Hillcross Primary to hear what it's like and if you're happy with the school. It's hard to make a decision based on the Ofsted only and having been to see the school I was very impressed but worried about the size of the school and if the teaching methods would suit my children. One of my children needs more encouragement and one to one time occasionally and I'm not sure if the teaching style and class sizes would be a good or bad thing.

I think Ive answered you elsewhere! But I had to take Hillcross for my daughter as I didnt get any of my (closer) choices. I am v impressed so far (she is in reception) her reading is coming on in leaps and bounds and she enjoys it. The teachers are lovely and theres lots of extra curricular stuff if you are into that (I noticed today there are even ukele classes!). Yes it IS big but so many schools in Merton are expanding (they have no choice). I hear stories of all all the other kids from my daughter and it sounds like they spend 'extra' time with those who need it. I would defintely give it come consideration. I just wish I didnt have to drive there everyday!
