Teddington - Collis, Stanley or St Mary's & St Peter's

Hello ladies

We are due to move in Teddington and saw some properties that we like. Some of the properties are nearer to Collis, some of them are nearer to Stanley/ St Mary's & St Peter's. Can you please shed some light on these three schools so that we will have an idea which property to go for? Thanks a million!!!

Also, is it true that Sacred Heart RC often got oversubscribed before considering the criteria of distance?

I went to collis but over 30 years ago! What I hear now is that is meant to be one of the best and is highly desirable whereas when I was there it was just our local school. I don't know that it's any better or worse than in those days - it's just that it's become a thing in a way that it wasn't then. Also I prefer the Collis end of Teddington. I assume you have looked up the ofsted reports?

Sacred Heart recently was oversubscribed on practising Catholics. Let alone distance. A few siblings of non Catolics did not get in last year.

Collis and St Mary's are both lovely schools too. Best thing is to visit them and get a feel for which school suits your child best. Good luck!

I am local, and just to echo that all the Teddington schools have good reputations. Best of luck.
