Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had a personal experience with Cromer Road Primary in Barnet? We've just found out that the house we've offered on is in the catchment area for this school instead of Foulds. The 2008 Ofsted Report was bad. Foulds is also very oversubscribed (about 214 applications for 17 places this year) so despite the house being on the border of the catchment area, I doubt our twins will get in.

Any information at all will be greatly appreciated!

Cheers!

Suzanne

Hello, both my girls (8) and (4) go to Cromer Road. It should have a new inspection coming out in the next few days. Sure it will do well. Both girls have made really good friends there and love going to school. The academic standards are good and the teachers are lovely. Lots of extracurricular stuff. Good social & cultural mix. Swimming pool! Does well at sport. What's more I've made some really good friends there. (It seems to be home to a lot of professional mums ex islington/hackney who move to burbs with kids). On the downside the buildings are 80 years old!
