Disrupted since starting school.

DS1 is in Y1 and since starting school has been through lots of disruption. In YR it was building work which was short term pain for long term gain, in Y1 they have had 3 teachers (one a student) 1 TA and now another teacher/TA not sure what and need to ask school what her role is. DS since Christmas has been really cross about it, violently so, and telling us how much he gates school now and doesn't ever want to go on. We spoke to his teacher earlier this year and she promised to keep an eye out for him but how can she when she no longer teaches the year group now? She is deputy head. I know several other parents are unhappy with it all too. One more thing no one has read with DS since the Monday before half term despite me repeatedly asking for him to change his book and the homework he was set has not been acknowledged at all! This is the same for all of his year! WWYD?

You need to arrange a meeting with his current teacher if possible. If you aren't comfortable with that the deputy Head or Head teacher so you can express your concerns. Good luck.

It's allegedly parents evening soon (week after next) will see them then, otherwise will make an appointment.
