Chepstow primary schools

We are thinking about relocating to Chepstow later this year to be closer to my husband's work (Cardiff). We're currently living near Bath and it will be a real wrench to leave this area as we have lots of friends and the children are settled at school.

The plus side will be that DH will be able to get home at a reasonable time (currently leaves home at 6.30am and returns at 8pm every day) and we will save a lot of money on daily train fares.

I'd really appreciate some useful advice on Chepstow itself as well as the state primary schools in the town and surrounding villages. Any feedback would be really helpful. I have been doing a lot of research on the internet but I know you can't beat 'word of mouth'.

We have a 5 year old, 8 year old twins and a 9 year old so I imagine it's going to be quite tricky finding spaces in one school for them all...

Thanks for your help. xx

Hi,

I noticed that nobody has replied, we are also thinking about Chepstow from Bristol, did you manage to relocate there and any good advice re: places to live and school to attend?

Many thanks

Cinzia
