writing leaflets KS2

dd has come home in tears with a 3a in her leaflet writing -most of her writting is 4a or 5c

her teacher has apparently told her not to worry about it but telling my dd not to worry about something is like telling her not to breathe

so can someone help me out and tell me how it is marked so I know how to help her?

from what she's told me I think she has over complicated it -would this have brought her level down?

so if it was a leaflet about a community park you would be looking for it to pursuade the reader that they should visit the park? not just provide information about the park?

Surely this is more of an opportunity to help her learn to cope when things don't go well, rather than the time to be improving her ability to write a leaflet ? Confused
