Dilema #1
Have got a place at dulwich college junior and am also holding out for a place at state junior. Not sure if its best to jump into the private sector at this stage in an attempt to be preped for the 11+ or not. ( obv cheaper !)
Dilema #2 I hear that DCJ does not prep them for the exams for other schools and most kids stay there into the senior school.
Dilema 3# anyone know iif Dulwich prep (DCPS) is more more highly regarded than DCJ ?
Dilema 4# Anyone have experience of getting into selective schools at 11+ from state sector and have advice for me ?

Miamum not sure if you will see this now as it has been a few days since you posted. Our boy is in state primary, we live on boarders with Kent so went for the 11+ and Bexley Tests, he failed, so options were simple poor state school as closest best state school will be full by the time it gets to us, or private. We are now in the nightmare of getting him into a good private school, loads of people chasing very few places, my boy loves sport and loved Dulwich because of it, he failed the entrance exam by miles. If you want my opinion, if you can afford it send him to DCJ he will have much more chance of getting into senior school, even the teachers told me that 3 years ago, but I could not afford it at the time. In your shoes I would take the place and improve your chances.
