advice for 11 plus interviews at King's College Wimbledon

Would be grateful for any advice - my DS has an interview at King's College Junior School Wimbledon, does anyone have any experience of what questions he might be asked?

I don't know anything about that school specifically, but I think the general advice on that thread will apply. Some of the interview will be to get DS talking, and finding out what sort of boy he is and what his interests are. I imagine they'll be looking for friendly, enthusiastic boys that they think will fit in, they will enjoy having in the school, and who will make the best of what the school offers.

Have they told you if there will be a reading passage / oral comprehension? Or any other set pieces?

Yes, all I know is that he may be given a passage to read. . .

My DS had an 11+ interview at Kings last year. The headmaster interviewed him and he was asked a simple algebra question (solve for x) and a science question having to do with the sun and the moon and yes a reading comprehension. He was also asked what other schools he was applying to, whether King's was his first choice and if Kings was his parents' first choice. There were a few other boys from his year who also had interviews and everyone had similar but slightly different questions. Good luck!
