Kingslea Primary Horsham... Good or bad??

We're thinking of moving to Horsham, and am looking at a house within the Kingslea catchment, the Ofsted report gives 3's however I know Ofsted is not always the best measure of a school.

Anybody have kids that go there? Is it a nice school or one to be avoided?

I want a school that not only pushes the kids but also creates a happy, fun environment - actually the last part is the most important for me, I can always push a bit more from home!

My DD goes there and she's very happy. It is very popular in the area and always oversuscribed, so you would need to be in the catchment to get the place. I like it too (not very happy with the uniform though, it's the most ugliest colour you can imagine)(but that's my opinion Wink). And also school doesn't do school dinners, again something I'm not happy about. But the athmosphere is good and mums are friendlyGrin. If you have any more questions I'm happy to help!

Oh yes, and don't look at ofsted only. I've been to see a school with grade outstanding, and I didn't like it at all.
