DD has started bringing these home from school. Its not clear what reading level they're meant to be. Can anyone suggest where they fit in in terms of banding. I'm wondering if she's been moved down as she's finding them much easier than her previous books (I'm happy its so lovely not to be wading through a reading scheme)

Thank you

What book band is she on? And what year is she in?

My DS loved those books Grin

I think they are the purple level(NC) so around a 2C/B (NC level) but am happy to be corrected Grin

They were in purple and gold boxes at DS's school.

She's in year 1 and she was 6 in October. She was on turquoise but from what you're saying she may have been put up. Perhaps she's finding them easy because she's suddenly got the hang of reading for enjoyment.

We've just had Mr. Biff the Boxer it was great. I remember loving it when I was little too

DS's favourite is Mr Creep the crook Grin

He is in yr2 (Aug born) and read most of them in the summer holidays.

His teacher has been reading them to the class this week.

My personal favourite is Mrs. Wobble the Waitress - looking forward to rediscovering it with DD
