my son is doing a castle topic and id love to take him to a really good one for a field trip and and some hands on learning... anyone know of the best one in south east england to fit the job ? x

But there are a huge number of lovely castles in the SE, try the National Trust and English Heritage websites to find your perfect one.

Windsor?

Leeds castle? which I believe is in Kent, rather confusingly....

Warwick Castle. Only 1.5 hrs from London and well worth the trip. If have Merlin pass its free.
