Annemount Nursery and pre prep N2

Hello, im not sure if ive posted this in the right place, but has anyone heard of, or have experience of, Annemount Nursery and Pre prep? Any info or views would be appreciated. Thanks

Hello myself and my brother went there (a long time ago) and then both went on to Private schools in Hampstead. My kids are signed up to go there if they don't get into Highgate School. While they wait to do the 7+ exams.

They have been very friendly on the phone and organise tours. I don't have recent personal experience, but have only heard positive things from parents whose kids go there. It seems to have a friendly personal offering, not a crammer approach.

Thanks vm Cityangel. It certainly looks lovely. Am keen to avoid hothouse approach! We are n10 based so am looking at local options (like you highgate is first choice but v oversubscribed!)

Hi Simplysausages, I tried to search some more info about Annemount on internet as considering sending our girl there and found your thread a year ago on Mumsnet. Did you send your DC there and how did you find about it? Thank you very much in advance.

Hi! We didn't end up at Annemount, so can't fill you in I am afraid. We did think it looked lovely though and I have only heard positive things. Best of luck.

Annemount has recently applied for planning permission for a huge building project including a basement and extension. I don't know if permission has been given but you might want to find out what their plan is for minimising disruption while the building is going on. They say they won't increase numbers so could make it an even better school with more space per child but who knows if they will stick to that!
