My ds (year 2) is a competent reader and reads a wide variety of books he chooses from the library etc. I get him to read to me then try to ask questions about what he has read to check his comprehension. I quite often find it a bit tricky to think of things to ask him and feel i don't do enough to help him in this area. I wondered if anyone could recommend reading comprehension text books i could do with him. He has sat SAT papers at school and teachers say he is level 3 but i worry they are a bit generous.
