Year 6 writing score, part II

Me again. So how many marks are the long and short papers out of? Presumably spelling is a max of 7, handwriting 3, which leaves 40 marks - are the writing pieces 20/20 or 25/15 or something similar? Thanks again.

The writing is out of 50, with as you say a maximum of 7 marks for the spelling and 3 marks for the handwriting. The shorter task is out of 12 and the longer task out of 28. This gives the writing score. The Reading score is out of 50 and the combined result gives the English score.
