V keen for any good tips. Have tried trawling the ap store, but it is so dominated by american aps which seem to have rather primitive views of what constitutes an educational ap. Particularly keen on something which combines maths with some visually interesting rewards/play effects. Catering for year 1 and 5.

Mathbingo
Best 69p I ever spent and she is only 4!
She manages the level 1 addition and subtraction with her number line.
Spends at least 40 mins at a time!
But it has division and multiplication up to level 3 which was at least 12x table.

Farmer pete for y1

Percy Parker for times tables. Hadn't actually worked for my son yet. He likes rocket maths.

There's a good phonics writing app called pocket phonics

Pop maths is ok but my son just like to do it randomly thus learning nothing!

I tried a1 spelling app but has not captured their imagination.
