Both have very good reputations! My colleague's daughter goes to Bourne Westfield and is reasonably happy with it so far ( only in Class 1), teacher is lovely, daughter ( who is VERY bright) seems happy and enjoys school, making good progress already. Don't know much about Edenham other that they are very sporty ( they tend to win most of the Small School Leagues-except the Rugby, we won that oneGrin ) and the children are always happy and well behaved. Personally I prefer small schools ( which is why I work in one!) but that's an individual view! I don't think you would go far wrong with either ( but avoid Bourne Academy!!)

I worry the smaller school may have less extracurricular opportunities. The year groups are mixed at Edenham which i am not so keen on.
Why avoid Bourne Academy? Not much choice for secondaries in the area! Long way off yet.!

Edenham are certainly into sport but not sure about what else. Many of the small primaries in Lincolnshire run mixed age classes so in the locality it's not unusual, parents either like them or don't! We have parents who specifically choose our school BECAUSE it is small and family orientated-not something that can always be said about larger schools! Have you visited either?, I think they have very different "feels" to them, you need to choose the one that feels right for you and your child!
Sorry, by Bourne Academy I meant the primary academy ( Bourne Abbey) it has a very mixed reputation in the area ( and the Head certainly has a reputation!)

Oh yes , will avoid Bourne abbey. My friends dd was allocated a mid year place there. took her out after 2 weeks !
