Odd time of the year to be doing a practice SAT paper, but hey. Can anyone remember it and was it a bugger? Thanks.

It was the 2009 one which begins "The earthship is a home of the future and it can help save the future of the planet" and then goes rapidly downhill after that! I don't think it was truly awful, certainly last years was pretty rough and Golden Dreams wasn't much better, but Dear Norman certainly caused some confusion!

I think it's quite a nice one, the letters are funny and nice, easy to read chunks! There's some tricky questions regarding bumble bees which require them to understand irony which threw my lot. The earthship is good but they must be sure to read all the text, even the bit in tiny font as there's some clues to answers there... Not sure which ones off the top of my head. But on the whole its not a bad paper and I found it a useful to ease my current class into the minefield that is year 6 testing!
