hi there...
if you have a child with a dx
who hits his teacher when hes angry, hits others, who argues constant, disrupts the class, and over all hard work,
how do cope?
do you end up wishing them out of your class?
do you blame the parents?

The children may work it out, the parents usually think they know the answer already.

the last 2 posts,
yes you are right,i know they have a feeling theres something not "right"
as his behaviour tells the story,
maybe i should stop the whole denial thing and just come out with it a little!
i really want to wait till hes fully dx,he got dx of adhd already, but theres more there,i know it.
DUST its just how you said it,"hes a nutter"ive had people say,all he needs is a good slap!nice!!
as much as i feel like it,thats not what he needs.....
it must have been sooo hard for you as a teacher?!
i cant even begin to imagine......

im very lucky to have such an understanding teacher...
last yrs teacher lost his cool with him, that teacher wrote to me about it and said he feels like giving up his job now! he was upset that he had put his hands on my childs shoulders and wanted to shake him...he said hes never had a child that made him feel that way,
we sorted it out and i took my son out of school for 2 days to give him a break, well both of them!
but saying all that, hes probably the only teacher who really understands how i feel, and how hard it is,and i know he is helping ds teacher now to cope with him at times,
maybe its more obvious than i think,ds looks "normal" he just dosent behave that way,

and can i just add,he is being such a good boy this morning, playing with his cars and watching the smurfs xxx
