Teachers of RE, please help!

We are writing new schemes of work for RE and I am trying to produce something to go with a Creative Curriculum on Nigeria unit for y4. I am going to do a half terms's introduction to Islam and then something about Christianity in Africa or Christianity as a world religion (as opposed to just a cosy Anglican village type religion).
The trouble is, I have no idea how to approach the Christianity bit. Or the whole term's work. Has anyone got any ideas? I have managed to get inspiration for several other s.o.w for other year groups, but not this one.

What does it say in the guidance from your local SACRE?

We use the blackburn with Darwen diocesean curriculum and there is a unit on Christianity around the world in the additional units section although it is a ks1 unit.

SACRE says make up your own units. Which I love doing - just gone a bit blank here.
Off to look at Blackburn.

I thought of some more ideas, if you go to the sing up website there is an English and zulu version of We are walking in the light of God (makes a great assembly), the bible society has tales of translating the bible to many languages and the videos are fantastic. There was also a BBC2 series on the history of Christianity which included wonderful clips of services in Africa where African dancing and drumming was part of worship.
