Hi,

We plan to move to Olney in March and before we decide to buy a house nearby Olney Infant Academy so that it can be in the catchment area.

I would really like to have your comments where your kids go to that school. Is it really a good school, good learning and not much bullying etc.? Or any other observations....

I know that it's an outstanding one by Ofsted but I appreciate more the advices from the local families living there...

Thank you very much :) xxx

Hi,

We moved to Olney for the same reason (two years ago) and I have to say that the school (olney Infant Academy) has exceeded our expectations. The teaching team is outstanding and the atmosphere at the school is extremely friendly. I have been a school governor in two schools before we moved to Olney and the quality/standards of teaching, the attitude of the kids, basically the entire learning environment here is soooo much better than what I have seen at the other two schools. You should have seen the kids at the Xmas play, it was amazing. The facilities are also extremely good (outstanding ICT stuff, pool, etc.). If you consider that schools of similar quality charge huge fees, Olney Infant Academy is more than good value for money. We found it also important that the other schools (middle and high school) have an excellent reputation too. A further plus is that Olney is a very nice community and that everything is in walking distance. I am sure you will like it. If you have any further questions just drop me an email.

The Olney Infant Academy is outstanding. As Anne says all schools, shops, pubs, restaurants are within walking distance and this makes a massive difference. Have you bought anything yet?
