Allergy management in Hackney primary schools

Does anyone have any experience of allergy management in primary schools in Hackney? My 3-year-old grand-daughter is allergic to sesame, and we need to select a school for her that is good at dealing with this.

I think you will find that all schools have pretty much the same approach to allergy management. For example, all school staff have asthma and epipen training. When you fill in your school application they will ask for allergy information and depending on the degree of allergy, they will respond accordingly.

Ours doesn't allow any nut/seed products in school, for example - although I am not sure how they regulate it. It'd be other kids' school lunches that is the tricky bit I imagine, as the only snacks the schools provide are fruit and veg.
