As the title Grin. I was going to go with the mandatory tin of celebrations for DS's reception teacher and Nursery nurse (both are women), but wondered if you lot had better ideas, I imagine they will be swimming in chocolate really.

I love a hand-made card with a nice message.

But also wine.

A card, especially one with a comment in.

Or just a smile and a genuine 'thanks a lot'..

Also a teacher (primary). As others have said, a card with message from child and parents too is best ever - providing they write something nice of course!! I still have letters from years and years ago written by parents. And if you really want to give a gift...wine always goes down well here too!

How about well behaved and calm children. It is what I would have enjoyed most during all the madness excitement that is a primary school at Christmas!!

A hand written, heart felt card. I can still remember the card I got from a particularly troublesome year 5 child in my first year at my current school (I'm a TA). It simply said "Thank Mrs Sandstorm. You've been great." I can't even remember if there was a gift with it or not tbh.

And the year 6 child who I worked with tirelessly for two years who gave me a hand made card and spelt my name differently three times and each one was wrong (it's not a difficult name, only 6 letters). BUT he'd done it himself and it was the best thing he could have got me.

As a teacher the best gift is a card made by the child and a big hug and some words of thanks from the parent inside as well.

My school is fab all the parents in the class club together and give John Lewis vouchers - hurray!
