Ours goes in regularly thanks to unfinished cartons of juice going back onto packed lunch boxes. We have also discovered that lunch boxes (the sort that zip) survive the dishwasher no problem. Grin

Just make sure there are no holes in the lining because if there are then it fills with water. They dry on the radiator fine if they do though and must still be more hygeinic than before.

The dirt is the only way I can tell DS (year 2) and DD (Reception) book bags apart Grin

I should wash them really though shouldn't I? I always chuck their lunch bags in the washing machine at the weekend
