Schools in and around Reigate

Hi,

I am hoping to get some feedback from some mums in the Reigate/Dorking area.

Firstly I have a dd who is going into seniors next year. We are looking at Moon Hall College, she is dyslexic, and she is writing for Dunottar School. Probably going to go the Moon Hall College route as there are spaces and it is, from what we can see, the best option for her going forward. At least I know that if she goes to Moon Hall she will get academic GCSE's. Like all dyslexic kids she is a very bright frustrated child.

Has anyone sent a child to any of the Moon Hall / Bury's Court schools that may have some input for me. Thanks

On the other hand we have a ds (Year 2) who is in a small prep in Caterham at the moment. The school is lovely but small and he complains about a lack of friends, the school has also not received as many scholarships for the local independent schools lately (Caterham, Trinity, Whitgift). He is an academic child, not sporty really (although enjoys Judo and being goalie). We will need to move him anyway if dd goes to Moon Hall so are looking at Micklefield School for him (Micklefield, although small, is twice the size of his current school),

I have looked at RSM but think Micklefield would suit him better. Any experience or input into these two schools will be appreciated. I cannot find independent prep's in Dorking, do they exists and are they any good?

If I can get him into a decent state school I will - any ideas? lol - not likely I know!

Thanks a bundle
