Cursive handwriting help?

Hi,

My ds (Yr 2) is starting to learn cursive hand writing, but despite having very neat hand writing generally he is finding this quite tricky. He got upset tonight explaining to me that he just couldn't write 'igh' joined up. He is one of these children who gets upset if he is not able to do something right (but that's another issue). I was just wondering if anyone could help please? Maybe point me in the right direction for some online resources/ Print outs? I am struggling to show him because I am unsure myself of the join from the 'i' to the 'g'.

I think you need to ask the class teacher.

There are loads of resources if you google cursive handwriting, but if you don't know, then there are probably lots of other parents who done't know either.

The flick of the i continues into the curve of the g... if that makes sense.
