Any online or pc based programs to improve comprehnsion skills?

Hi, have had a quick search on google and the forums and couldnt find anything apart from headsprout.

I am looking for something suitable for anything around school years 4 to 8.. The way the Americans break it down into skill areas like context clues, inference etc seems quite useful.

Have you used or come across anything (headsprout looks quite good but expensive and I dont think it goes very far up the grades).

We have done headsprout - very good and worth the money for both my NT 9yr old and Dyslexic 13yr old - as you say really explains ''how to do'' comprehension and I would say has expanded their essay writing skills as a by product - mPlus they do it with no arguments as its fun
