Can't believe I'm asking this but would value opinions from any teachers. DC had these levels at the end of year 5 -

Writing - 4a
Reading - 4b/a
numeracy - 3b/a.
science - ?

Is the expected progress 1 or 2 sub-levels? Thanks.

With the SATS in Y6 school will be doing absolutely everything the can to convert those 4s to 5s, and that 3 to a 4.

You're likely to be offered booster classes and all sorts towards the end of year.
