ot recommended wrriting slope, do school have to provide it?

title sys it all really. I need to go in and chase it up, find out if it has been ordered, if they are accepting responsibility for it but need to know what rights dd has to it. thanks.

I don't think school have to provide one - but they should.

But if you can afford it, it's certainly easier and quicker to buy your own.

My DS uses this one.

OT recommends one for dd2. So far she hasn't wanted to use it. I don't think the school has to provide it, but they should get some budget for sn and may choose to use it for that.

We bought ours. DD felt self conscious about using one but within a month, half the girls in her class had them! They make life much easier.

School has to make "reasonable adjustments". That includes a writing slope. DS has a clear perspex one that school provided so it isn't too obviously on the table.
