Cheap sports stuff

Hi there my ds is 6- we have a list of stuff to get including shin guards, tracksuit, trainers (sorry already posted about those) for football and cricket clubs. It suggests getting them from the school uniform suppliers but it's a bit expensive on top of already getting the rest of the unifrom and wondered if anyone had an idea of a good place to get these. I just think...he's 6. Probably won't use it much and be grown out of! many thanks

jjb sports?
sports direct?

Do you have a branch of Decathlon nearby? They always have a good selection of sports kit at very reasonable prices.

As for the cricketkit. If you must buy it wait until next summer. The season is over.

Could you not just wait for term and speak to the other mums??

Sports direct is brilliant for these things at cheap prices. Top tip re shin pads; pay the £1 extra to get the ones with elastic heels they stay in place so much better.

Have you tried Kickbacksports.com ? They have great sales and are always very good sending out the next size if the item ordered is too small, we got rugby and cricket kit from them. Football, hockey boots we ordered from JJB sports, have 3 DCs that needed them so was lucky they had 3 for 2 on at the time :)
