One week left - what should I do with DS1 before he starts school????

Just reading the posts on the other thread is making me teary. I have a weeks' grace as it's teachers visiting week this week. He starts next Tues. Other than finish getting his uniform/chat about school, etc, is there anything you wish you had got round to doing before your DC started, something you now miss?

My DS1 starts primary school tomorrow. Today I left DD and DS2 with DH and took him to a museum he's wanted to go to for ages. Took him on the train which he loves, out for lunch and to a toy shop at the end. He was completely spoilt but he loved it and has gone to bed a very happy boy. Would something like that be a possibility?

Best day we had in the holiday together I took dd for a picnic and a walk. We had such nice chats!
