The 10 year-old and 7 year-old start back at school on Wednesday, and for the first time they will be in the same playground and buildings as DD2 is going into juniors. Just overheard DD1 saying , in a very stern voice, to DD2

"Under NO circumstances must you come near me or even aknowledge me(must admit to feeling pleased here with her ambitious word choice Blush) on Wednesday. Got it?"

They probably do love each other, deep down Hmm.Smile

I'd have been furious at that age if DSis. (5 yrs younger) went near me or any of my friends. We didn't really get on until I left for university but we're very close now.

lovecheese - I have this twice over. ie I have 3 kids now all in the Juniors and the big 2 are both very adament that they can't talk to each other during school.

In fact I actually had to request that DS1 and DD get put in different houses Blush

I made my sister cry on my first day in primary school because she wanted to show me off to all her friends (3 years older) and I told her in no uncertain terms that I did NOT want to play and I had my own friends, thank you very much Grin
