My ds is starting school in sept. How much uniform do you suggest that I buy? I am happy to wash in the week as necessary but don't want to run short.

Advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks

3 pairs trews/ shorts
5 shirts short sleve
3 Sweatshirts ( but actully only use 2 and 3rd is a bigger size for future use)
5 pairs grey socks

DS started in Jan so didn't wear shorts till March then hasn't worn trews since Marsh. He will go back in Sept in shorts. Most reception year boys have long ish shorts that will do for 2 or more years. I have now invested in 2 or 3 long sleve shirts for winter use as I think DS will over heat in year one classroom in a shirt and sweatshirt while in Year 2 classroom he may need bot at once.

IF your child is messy eater you may need more sweatshirts/ trews or just wash more often.

We had for DS 3 shirts, 3 Trousers and a couple of shorts. Worked fine. I could never get from Sunday to Wednesday without sticking on a load of colours so that would be enough to get through the rest of the week. DD goes with 2 summer dresses (will buy 3 next year), 3 polos, 1 or 2 skirts, 3 polos and then 2/3 trousers. I tend to buy tights so that DD can mix and match when low in winter.
