KS1 sats query pls! Just curious.

I was just reading through threads on MN and there was something about 'writing' level 3 papers.

I thought they didn't do any formal tests and levels were just given based on the teachers assessment through the whole year.

I'm just curious really!

The level reported is indeed a teacher assessment - lots of evidence has to be provided to back this up, a small part of which is still the tests. Most Y2 children don't see them as anything different to normal classroom activities.
