Reading chest problems

I have just joined this evening but i'm having problems with the site,i cant seem to find out how dd can choose her books.
We can get to my account where it says show preferences but all get is which types of books i.e schemes we can choose from but no actual choices?
can anyone tell me where i'm going wrong?

You don't actually get to choose book titles, just the level and schemes of the books. If you were to choose actual book titles the owner of reading chest would have to have tens of each title in case everybody wanted the same ones. Don't worry about which books you will get, they do keep a record of which ones you get and you do not get them again until you have read all in that level first.
