If you were one of the the parents of children in my class. For the touching messages and, at times, hilarious gifts. I will genuinely miss you and your children, and yes, I am a softy, but the "tears" in the afternoon were hayfever, right?! First time in eight years of teaching my mascara ran.

Just don't hug me next time - that's unfair!!!

I was desperately fighting back the tears when thanking our lovely teacher. It's kind of nice to know that the teachers might be a bit sad too!

My son was leaving today too, which might have heightened it, but I have had THE lovliest clas this year, and genuinely feel emotional about losing them. Class 1 - I salute you, and your marvellous mummies, daddies and carers!
