Moving to Middlewich CHESHIRE EAST

Can anyone recommend Middlewich Primary or other local schools in the area? We have an appeal for Lower Peover which is delayed by a week but have a place for the local school which I can walk to...but educationally think LP is better - but to be honest not sure.

Can anyone give their inside knowledge?!!

Where exactly are you moving too?
Do you mean Peover Superior Endowed Primary school (great name) which is in Over Peover, not Lower Peover?
Have you got an appeal date, because normally CE do not do appeals during the school holidays? Which year group are we talking about?
Sorry do not know much about the primary schools but for the future Middlewich High has a good reputation as does Holmes Chapel High.

Barnton School is supposed to be good but a bit in the other direction

PS Does anyone else secretly muttley at Pee-over (I know it's prn Peever but still...)

Hello ark boy, I live in Davenham and my son attends Lower Peover school. It is an excellent school, there is also Davenham primary which is Ofsted outstanding, Kingsmead primary, goodstrey primary and Holmes chapel primary. I would recommend all of these, Davenham and Kingsmead feed into Leftwich high school and Lower Peover, Goostrey, Holmes chapel all feed into Holmes Chapel high school, both are excellent high schools. What year are you hoping to enter your child in? I would base your search on which high school you want to go to, as many of them are oversubscribed round here. If you want Knutsford acadamy then LowervPeover or Bexton Primary in Knutsford. Hopevthisvhelps, letbusknow how you get on. Ps I cannot moment on Middlewich schools I am sorry. X
