DS's report includes the phrase "On occasion he can become distracted and this prevents him doing his best work". We've heard variations of this at every parents' evening and on every report since he started school (now Y2). I've thus far worked on the premise that he's young, and this will improve with age blah blah blah. But is there anything more "constructive" I could be helping him with?
DS (FWIW) assures me he is a little angel and it is the other children at his table that are the problem
.
He moves to a new school in September, is this the sort of thing that gets shared between schools, or will it be left to his new teacher to pick it up and try to resolve?
